Tk 20 lakh jute gutted in Ctg
Jute worth Tk 20 lakh was gutted in a fire at a godown in the port city yesterday.
Sources said the fire broke out at Chittagong Jute Manufacturing Limited at Kalurghat under Chandgaon Police Station at around 10:30am.
Fire fighter Mamunur Rashid of Kalurghat Fire Station was injured while trying to extinguish the blaze.

However, what caused the fire could not be known immediately, the sources said.
