Tongi Palli Bidyut office besieged
Locals laid siege to the Palli Bidyut office of Tongi zone and blocked Dhaka-Mymensingh highway for an hour in protest of frequent power snaps and load shedding in the area.
They said they underwent tremendous sufferings as electricity snaps have been taking place 10 to 15 times everyday over the last 15 days, but the officials took no step to improve the situation.
They demanded cancellation of jobs of the officials concerned for such power snaps.
