Trader robbed of Tk 7 lakh

After a hot chase, pedestrians held one of the muggers, Idris Ali 32, while three others managed to flee.

A dagger and Tk 3,50,000 lakh were recovered from Idris. He was handed over to the police after they beat him severely.

Aslam, brother of the owner of Mannan Steel Mill, was going to deposit the money to the National Bank. Muggers intercepted him on the way and snatched away the bag full of money.
