Transport strike in SW region called off
The Bangladesh Road Transport Workers' Federation yesterday called off its 48-hour strike, which was scheduled to begin in the southwestern region today.
The southwestern regional committee of the federation took the decision to defer their action programme till September 30 following a meeting with the district administration.
The federation called the strike to press home its 4-point demand.
