Truckload of polythene seized
Police seized a truckload of banned polythene on Buriganga second bridge yesterday and arrested the driver.
Driver Monir Hossain in police custody told UNB that two businessmen hired his truck to transport the polythene to Keraniganj from Chawkbazar.
"The businessmen negotiated with the police and secured release after payment of heavy bribe," added the driver against whom police filed a case.
