Two children drown in Ctg
Two children drowned in a pond in the port city yesterday.
Police said Yarun Nesa, 11, daughter of Iskander Ali of Ward No-3 under Baizid Bostami Police Station, and Sadiya Begum, 12, daughter of Nilufer Begum of the same area, went to a nearby pond for taking bath at around 12.30pm and drowned within minutes.
Neighbours recovered the bodies and sent to the Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH).
