Two commit suicide

Munshiganj correspondent reports: Pradip Shil, 16, of village Shil Kadurgaon in Shri Nagar being angry with his father committed suicide by taking poison.

Pradip committed suicide as his father Sunil Chandra Shil rebuked him for negligence in work in their saloon.

Pradip was rushed to a local clinic. He was shifted to Mitford Hospital in Dhaka as his condition deteriorated.

He died at the hospital at about 2:30pm.

Keraniganj correspondent adds: A young boy named Rana, 13, took poison also being haughty with his father in Keraniganj on Saturday.

Locals say, Rana left home for joining Ijtema with Tk 50 His father caught him playing instead of going to Ijtema and scolded him.

Following the incident he committed suicide by taking poison in the night.

Rana was rushed to local Arafat Hospital. Later, he was shifted to Mitford Hospital as his condition deteriorated where he died.
