Two killed in Gazipur road accidents

A Dhaka-bound bus rammed a jackfruit seller when its driver lost control at Signboard area on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in the afternoon.

The unidentified fruit seller, 50, was found spot dead and five pedestrians were injured.

The driver was nabbed and handed over to the police and a case was filed at the Joydevpur Police Station.

Meanwhile, an unidentified man of around 45 years was sliced beneath a Jamalpur bound commuter train at 5:00 pm at the Joydevpur Jong Rail Station level crossing.
