Two masons fall to death
Two masons died and another received serious injuries after they fell from the fourth floor of a seven-storey underconstruction building at Banasree, Rampura, in the city yesterday.
The dead were identified as Abdur Rauf, 45, and Motaleb Hossain, 25. The injured worker, Milon Mia, 35, has been undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
The three were plastering the outside wall standing on a makeshift platform at around 8:30am, but they fell to the ground as the platform collapsed, police said.
