UK working holidaymaker scheme suspended

This service is being suspended in Bangladesh because a significant and unprecedented rise in the number of applications has resulted in demand outstripping capacity, which has adversely affected the wider visa operation. The situation will be reviewed after six months.

Any applicant who has already submitted a working holiday visa application and paid a fee at any UK Visa Application Centre in Bangladesh before 7 June will have their application processed as normal. Working holidaymaker applicants who have booked a UK TB medical appointment after the suspension date will be contacted by the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) for cancellation of their appointments. If applicants wish to travel when service is resumed, they will need to ensure that they still hold a valid UK TB Health Certificate before applying at any UK Visa Application Centre.

The UK Visa Application Centre and IOM clinics will not be accepting any further applications for visas or UK TB Health Certificates from working holidaymaker visa applicants.
