UNEAD team meets B Chy
A delegation of the United Nations Election Affairs Division (UNEAD) made a courtesy call to Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh (BDB) President Dr AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury at the latter's Baridhara office in the city yesterday, says a press release.
UNDP Resident Representative in Bangladesh Renata Lok Dessallien and Md Najibur Rahman, a UNDP officer, accompanied the two-member team comprising Senior Political Officer Kendra Collins and member Peter Eicher.
During the discussion, the BDB chief raised issues including 'recruitment of ruling party cadres as the election officers, opposition political parties' reform proposal to ensure free and fair election and law and order situation in the country'.
