UNO arrested in Habiganj
Joint forces arrested Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) AKM Lutfur Rahman yesterday on charge of misappropriating rice of test relief.
Acting on a tip-off, the members of joint forces caught the UNO red-handed in his office at about 1:45pm while taking Tk 12,000 from Gupaya Union Parishad member Sona Miah. The money came from the illegal sale of test relief rice.
The UP member also gave the UNO another amount of Tk 20,000 earlier.
