Woman, daughter killed in Magura road accident
A pregnant woman and her three-year old daughter were killed in a road accident at Chhoto-bridge area in Magura Sadar upazila on Magura-Jhenidah highway yesterday.
The deceased were identified as Rexona, 30, wife of Arif Mondal of Chandpur village in Sadar upazila and her daughter Arifa, 3.
Police and witnesses said the accident occurred at around 6:00pm on Monday when a speedy Jhenidah-bound truck hit them while they were crossing the road.
