Woman found dead in city

The woman identified as Rubi Begum, 22, was found lying on the bed wrapped with warm cloths with several marks of injuries in her body, police said.

Raihan, husband of Rubi, has been missing since the incident.

Police said, on information from the house owner, they recovered the body breaking open the door of the house.

Poli Begum, a neighbour, said she informed it to the house owner when foul smell was coming out of the house.

She said the house has been locked for the last two days. The couple rented the house earlier this month, she added.

The body was sent to the Dhaka Medical College morgue. Morgue sources said the lady was pregnant for around five months.
