Women commissioners demand equal rights
Women Ward Commissioners of Khulna City Corporation formed a human chain at the Picture Palace Cinema hall intersection in Khulna City yesterday demanding equal rights and fare participation in development works as of their male counterparts.
The human chain was followed by a rally where the speakers threatened to launch a tougher movement if their demands are not met.
