'Women worst victims of water, power, gas crises'

The leaders urged people to launch a tougher movement against the frequent price hike of essentials by a vested quarter of BNP-Jamaat led government.

Speaking as chief guest, Comrade Bimol Bishwas said, 'A section of people in the government is amassing wealth while the poor are getting poorer.'

Convenor of the organisation Hajera Sultana pointed out that women are the worst victims of price hike and scarcity of utility services, as they have to do household chores.

Mostafa Alamgir Ratan of Jubo Maitri, Rafikul Islam Sujon of Chhatra Maitri and other leaders of the organisation also spoke on the occasion.
