14 pass Dakhil without exam in Chandpur!

Fourteen students passed Dakhil examination without appearing at the examination this year, held under Comilla Board.

All of them appeared from Faridganj Alia Madrasa centre. Their roll numbers are 234733, 234744, 234941, 234943, 234957, 235229, 235236, 235237, 235239, 235241, 235281, 234766, 234912 and 234910.

The irregularity was detected last week when it was alleged that seven students who did not come to the centre at all passed the Dakhil examination. The allegation was found correct after checking records.

A general diary was recorded with Faridganj police by secretary of the examination centre Maulana Sultan Ahmed. He also informed the Upazila Nirbahi Officer and relevant officials in the education board. UNO AFM rafiuddin formed a three- committee to probe the matter.

On investigation it was revealed that the forgery was done by fourteen students who got their answer scripts written outside and later those were tucked along with other scripts.

Of the fourteen students, five got F grade, two B grade and the rest got C grade. Two of them were students of Faridganj Alia Madrasa, two of Horni Durgapur Madrasa, six of Puran Rampur Madrasa, two of Shahpur Madrasa and one each of Alonia Madrasa Madrasa and Ali Noor Madrasa.

Meanwhile, Faridganj UNO informed Chandpur Deputy Commissioner about the matter.

An team from Bangladesh Madrasa Board also probed the matter, sources said.

All the fourteen students are now absconding, the sources said.
