8 get life for killing schoolboy
Eight people were sentenced to life term rigorous imprisonment (RI) by a court here on Monday for killing a schoolboy.
The convicts are Mizanoor Rahman, Alamgir, Sukumar Haldar, Abdul Karim, Habil, Zulhas, Motaleb and Khokon Saha alias Provat Kumar Saha of Notun Para in Shivalaya.
The court also fined each of them Tk 10,000, in default, to suffer one year more RI in the sensational school student Rabiul Islam murder case.

Rabiul Islam, a student of class nine of Shivalaya Government High school was killed by the culprits after physical torture on September 21, 1998.
