AL protests nomination to Gono Forum
Hundreds of Awami League (AL) activists yesterday took out a procession here protesting nomination of Gono Forum leader Mofizul Islam Khan Kamal from the grand alliance.
A rally was held at Manikganj bus stand on the Dhaka-Aricha Highway where speakers demanded candidature of district AL secretary Gazi Kamrul Huda Selim instead of Kamal. They feared the grand alliance will lose the seat if the candidate is not changed immediately.
Among others, AL leaders Haider Ali, Dipak Ghosh, Laxmi and Sudev Saha addressed the rally.
