Boat seized with 3000 fertiliser bags
About 3000 bags of fertiliser were seized by police and local officials from a Bay-bound engine boats at Sonadiya in Cox's Bazar Friday night. Six people were arrested.
Police said the seized the fertiliser suspecting that those were being smuggled to Myanmar.
When contacted, Moheshkhali Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) A H M Lokman also confirmed the incident.
