Caught in his own trap!

Forkan Ali, Principal of South East Model College, hid in a house in Hogladanga under Batiaghata upazila in Khulna and asked his brother-in-law Al Amin to file a case alleging that he has been kidnapped by Faruque Hossain and Abul Bashar.

Al Amin filed a kidnapping case against the two persons with Sonadanga thana on Thursday. He also alleged that the captors demanded Tk two lakh ransom.

Police arrested Faruque Hossain and Abul Bashar Friday noon and informed Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) to rescue the victim.

On Saturday early morning, Rab found Forkan Ali hiding in a house in Hogladanga. They caught and handed him over to Sonadanga police on Saturday.

Sonadanga police released the two arrested persons and took Forkan Ali into custody for filing a false case.

Police said they were interrogating Forkan Ali but did not find any clue why he fabricated the false case.
