'Dead' man files nomination
Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) nomination seeker M Shahidullah Shahid from Mymensingh-2 (Phulpur Upazila) constituency found his name missing from the corrected voter list when he went to the Returning Officer's office on Tuesday to file nomination paper.
His name was deleted from the voter list as he was 'dead', said. Shahidullah is joint organizing secretary of central LDP.
Shahidullah Shahid later submitted his nomination paper as election officials assured him to correct the voter list.

Shahidullah is former joint secretary of Juba Dal, BNP's youth front.
