Ershad for waiver of agri-loan interest
Jatiya Party chairman H M Ershad has demanded of the government to waive interest of agricultural loan from farmers.
He told this while addressing a Rangpur Pourasabha election campaign at Sapla Square here on Sunday where he introduced Abdur Rouf Manik as the party candidate. He vouched for him saying that if elected his party candidate would develop the municipality area.
"The government patronises rich industrialists and oppresses farmers," he said.

He also deplored the present unstable political situation, deteriorating law and order and price spiral of essentials.
The Jatiya Party chief warned that the country is heading towards a civil war due to government's inefficiency and undemocratic attitude.
