Ex-JCD leader arrested with smuggled goods
Former president of Domar upazila unit of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) was arrested with smuggled goods at Chilahati border on Saturday.
Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) members arrested Asaduzzaman Chayan,37, while he along with his three associates were carrying various smuggled Indian goods including beer, gold chain, saree and cosmetics at Uttar Ketki Bari Nayahat border point at midnight.
He was produced before the court on Sunday.

However, his three associates managed to escape.
