Fertiliser dealers at unions soon

He was addressing a farmers' gathering at Char Puliamari Primary School ground in Mymensingh Sadar upazila Tuesday evening.

Channel i, an electronic media, organized the gathering titled " Budged for Agriculture and Budged for Farmers".

Shaikh Siraj, Director (News) of Channel i was the moderator of the function which started at 6 pm and continued till about 9 pm.

Farmers in their hundreds including a good number of women, fertiliser dealers, fish farmers and hatchery owners from different villages in the district attended the unique programme and spoke freely about their problems. High officials of the district administration and agriculture and fishery departments attended the meeting.

The farmers said fertiliser crisis during peak season and high price of diesel is their main problems and urged the advisor to look into those.

The agriculture adviser heard farmers' problems patiently and answered them.
