Four Kushtia BNP men injured in bomb attack

The victims are Abdul Malek alias Malek Master 45, vice-president of Mahajanpur union BNP, Akkas Ali 30, Babu member and Sawpan 28.

Police said a gang threw a bomb on a shop when Malek and the other party men were siting there. It blew away Malek's right led and injured the rest three. Malek is also a teacher at Komorpur High School.

They were taken to Meherpur General Hospital. Malek was taken to Dhaka as his condition deteriorated.

According to Malek's family, he was admitted to the Orthopedic Hospital in Dhaka. A relative of the victim quoting doctors of the hospital told this correspondent over cell phone yesterday that his condition was w serious.

A case was filed with Mujibnagar police station but police could neither not hunt down any of the attackers nor find any clue to the incident.
