Freedom fighter killed in Pabna
A freedom fighter and headmaster of a primary school was hacked to death during school hours yesterday on its premises.
The incident took place in Atairula upazila in Pabna district.
Md Shajahan alias Shajahan Master, 55, headmaster of Goashelari Primary School, was called out of classroom at about 11 am and hacked, allegedly by outlaws belonging to Purba Banglar Communist Party (PBCP), police and witnesses said.

The two were taken to Pabna General Hospital. As Shajahan's condition deteriorated, he was being sent to Dhaka for treatment. He died on way. Rabiul is being treated at Pabna General Hospital.
Shajahan was reportedly an Awami League supporter. He was commander of Bhullearia union Muktizudha Sangshed.
