Life for 2 rapists in Nilphamari
Two persons were sentenced to life term rigorous imprisonment (RI) by a court here in a rape case on Monday.
The two convicts are Mamunur Rashid and Belal Hossain.
Both of them raped a housewife at Khalisha Chapani union in Dimla upazila at dead of night on October 25, 1988. After the incident victim's husband Momtaz-uddin filed a case at Dimla Thana.

Special Public Prosecutor Mizanur Rahman conducted the case in favour of the plaintiff while Advocate Jamil Ahmed stood for the defendant.
