The Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) bottling plant at Golapganj resumed operation on Sunday afternoon after remaining shut for 12 days.

It followed resumption of production in the Petrobangla's processing unit, Rupantarito Prakritik Gas Company Limited (RPGCL).

However, only 55 tons of LPG were supplied to the plant so far, sources said.

Both the plants fell idle as supply of Natural Gas Liquid (NGL) from the Molecular Sieve Turbo Expander (MSTE) plant came to a halt from September 26 due to overhaul of MSTE, an official said.
