Outlaw killed by party rivals in Pabna
A regional leader of the outlawed Purbo Banglar Communist Party (PBCP-Lal Pataka) was killed by party rivals at Tatipara in Sadar upazila in the early hours of yesterday.
The victim, Md Abdus Samad alias Kalla Samad,40, was the second in command of the outlawed party in Pabna region, police said.
Samad was a listed criminal. He was an accused of many cases including 10 murder cases in Pabna and Ataikula. He was absconding for a long time. On his return home, his party rivals kidnapped him from his house and shot him dead early yesterday. They fled away leaving the body in field.
Being informed, Sadar police recovered the body and sent it to Pabna General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Samad was the son of Minhaj Pramanik of Khaschar-Balarampur village in Sadar upazila.
