Poet honoured

He was accorded a reception at Sufia Kamal Auditorium in the capital recently.

Saiful Bari, also a poet, inaugurated the function. Dr. Abdul Latif Mallik, advisor of the Daha, a literary magazine, presided over the function. Daha Editor Santa Shjawan delivered the address of welcome.

Mahmud Kamal has more than a dozen titles including several collections of poems to his credit. He is the secretary of Tangail Public Library.
