Prisoner dies at Comilla jail

Zainal Abedin, 70, was declared dead after he was taken to Comilla Sadar Hospital from the jail at about 5:30 in the morning.

Quoting jail officials, police said Zainal was suffering from diseases. Hospital sources said there was a bandage on Zainal's body for skin diseases, but it bore no marks of torture or injury.
