Robbers ransack WDB office in Dinajpur

Robbers ransacked the Water Development Board (WDB) office in Dinajpur in the early hours of yesterday, according to police and WDB officials.

They said a gang of about 10 entered the office at about 2 am after beating night guard Md. Imran.

They broke open at least 11 almiras and a locker and scattered papers on floors. WDB officials yesterday said they are checking if any document was missing.

A case has been filed with with Dinajpur police station.

The incident created panic in the town.
