Samo Adhiker demends removal of Moniswapan
Samo Adhiker Andolon, an organisation agitating for establishment of equal rights of Bengali settlers in CHT, in a press statement issued here on Tuesday, demanded immediate removal and punishment to CHT Affairs Minister Monisapan Dewan for his criminal activities.
The press statement was jointly signed by Samo Adhiker Andolon president Abu Yusuf Chowdhury and secretary Mostafizur Rahman Millat respectively.
The statement said the minister has damaged the image of the present government by stopping legal procedure of the Land Commission. As a result, many people were deprived of their land rights, it said.
