School boy beaten dead in land dispute

The victim was identified as Masud, 15, a student of class eight at Latif Municipal Seminary. He was son of Abu Ahsan of Bahalgachia village.

Police said, three youth allegedly led by Khokon beaten up Masud when he went to a market. Local people rushed him to Patuakhali General Hospital where doctors declared him dead. Later, angry local people attacked the house of on Khokon, caught his father Abdul Khaleq and handed him over to police.
