'Smuggler' shot dead by rivals

Sajjad, 35, of Beijpara area in the town was shot at Lanjani when he was going to Benapole in a motor cycle.

He was rushed to Jessore 250-bed Hospital where he died. Doctors said there were marks of five bullet injury on his body.

A case is yet to be filed.
