Start OMS of rice, Rangpur traders demand

In a memorandum to the Prime Minister (PM), Zunnun told that the sufferings of poor people, specially day labourers multiplied due to soaring prices of rice beyond their capacity.

He told that rice is being sold at between Tk. 19 to 22 per kilogram (KG) in the markets. As a result, poor people are passing their days unfed or half-fed, he said.
