Tk 6 lakh crabs seized, four smugglers arrested
Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) jawans on Wednesday seized crabs worth Tk 6 lakh while being smuggled out to India.
The crabs weighing 2,000 kilogram were seized from Shona village near the Indo-Bangla border in Sadar upazila. Four alleged smugglers were also arrested from the spot. They are Arizul, Asadul, Akbar and Kabir all of Bahera village in Debhase upazila, police and BDR sources said.
