Workshop for newsmen held
A three-day training workshop on 'Gender Discrimination and Violence Against Women' was held at Mymensingh Press Club auditorium yesterday.
With the assistance of Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF), Nari Uddug Kendra (NUK) organised the workshop for local journalists.
The programme was presided over by NUK programme manager Moinuddin Ahmed.

NUK officials Ismat Ara Yeasmin, Abdul Hannan, Zakia Sultana and Minhaz Ahmed Dipu were the resource persons at the training session.
A total of 25 journalists working with different national and local dailies took part in it.
