Additional Deputy Commi-ssioner (General) Zobeyedur Rahman inaugurated the art competition. Some 100 children from 40 schools including 13 disabled child artists from the Community Centre for the Handicapped (CCH) took part in the competition.

Assistant Deputy Keeper of the art gallery Dulal Chandra Gain, officials and elite of the town were present at the inaugural function.
