Employ people to protect shopping malls from fire, arson: Fire Service
The authorities of shopping malls and markets across the country should deploy enough manpower to prevent any sabotage or fire, said the Department of Fire Service and Civil Defence.
It also advised against cooking in market areas using bottled gas.

"We want to tell the traders and owners association of markets that you should appoint their own manpower at night at different points in the market," said Tajul Islam Chowdhury, director (Operations and Maintenance) of the fire service in a press conference.
Noting that the temperature of the country is high, Tajul said the appointed manpower will not only prevent sabotage but will also work to douse any possible fires.
The press conference was arranged at the fire service headquarters on fire risk mitigation and ensuring fire safety in markets and shopping malls of the capital.
