Narayanganj steel mill blast: 6th victim succumbs to injuries
The death toll from the explosion at a re-rolling mill in Narayanganj's Rupganj upazila climbed to six after another victim died this afternoon.
Jewel Hossain, 25, died at Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery around 5:30pm, said Inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College Hospital police outpost.

Jewel, son of Labu Miah of Karshakaria village under Sadar upazila in Kishoreganj, had been working at the steel mill for one year, said the victim's cousin Md Sumon.
On Thursday, an explosion inside the furnace of the factory spilled molten iron on seven workers, killing three of them -- Shanker, 40, Elias Ali alias Yeasin, 35, and Niyon, 20.
Two more workers, Md Alamgir, 33, and Golam Rabbi, 35, later breathed their last at the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.
The condition of the sole survivor Ibrahim, 35 -- was critical, said hospital sources.
