Justice Enayetur Rahim nominated as apex court chamber judge

Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddique has nominated Justice M Enayetur Rahim, a judge of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, as chamber judge of the apex court for disposing of urgent cases, as the court will reopen on Sunday after an annual vacation.

Justice Enayetur Rahim will hold hearing and dispose of the cases from 2:30pm every Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday till further order in physical presence of lawyers and officials, according to a notification issued by the Appellate Division Registrar Mohammad Saifur Rahman today.

The Appellate and High Court Divisions of the SC went into the annual vacation on April 9.
