Khaleda to attend political rally on Dec 21 after 7 years

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is set to attend a rally organised by Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Muktijoddha Dal at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre on Saturday (December 21).

Sayrul Kabir Khan, a member of the BNP Media Cell, confirmed the development to The Daily Star last night.

If Khaleda attends the rally, it will be her first public appearance at a political event since November 12, 2017 when she joined the National Revolution and Solidarity Day programme as the chief guest at Suhrawardy Udyan in Dhaka.
