Ducsu polls: Campaigning ends today; candidates making last-min efforts
Candidates from different panels in the Dhaka University Central Students' Union (Ducsu) election are making last-minute efforts to reach out to students, as today is the last day of campaigning as per the polls schedule.
The polls will be held on September 9, and all forms of campaigning will remain banned from tomorrow, in line with the electoral code of conduct.
The candidates of different panels were seen distributing leaflets and manifestos on the campus.
Meanwhile, Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal candidates organised an oath-taking programme in front of Arts Faculty where around 200 candidates from Ducsu and hall unions joined.
Also, students of the independent panel -- Swatantra Shikkharthi Oikyo -- campaigned at different places from Curzon Hall to Arts Faculty.
Candidates from Bangladesh Ganatantrik Chhatra Sangshad and Islami Chhatra Shibir were seen campaigning in different areas of the DU campus as well.
