In Bangladesh, climate change is not a far-fetched 'theory'. With more than 230 waterways, the Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research (SCAR) reported that Bangladesh is one of the most disaster prone nations in the world.
According to SCAR, by 2100, as the polar ice melts, sea levels will rise by almost five feet. Literally, half a world away from western Antarctica, Bangladesh is going to face the hardest blow and a fifth of the country could disappear.
