NOT FORGOTTEN

The government is yet to probe into the arbitrary abduction of the General Secretary of the Hill Women's Federation – Kalpana Chakma. 

In the last 19 years, the Kalpana Chakma abduction case has been investigated several times. What might sound ridiculous is that the deadline for submission of the investigation report was reset 23 times. The iconic artist, Shahidul Alam, who is still fighting to ensure justice for Kalpana Chakma, believes that the investigation process epitomises the government's attitude towards the populace of the Chittagong Hill Tracts.
