Land ministry wins WSIS Prize
A total of 360 projects from different countries, under 18 categories, were nominated for the awards.
The Digital Land (Development) Tax system of the land ministry has won the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Prizes 2022.
ITU Secretary-General Houlin Zhao handed over the trophy to Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury at Popov Conference Hall of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland on Tuesday, reads a press release.
"This recognition will inspire us to work better," said Saifuzzaman.

The Digital Land Tax System won in the "ICT applications: benefits in all aspects of life -- e-government" category.
