'Time wrote a relatively good story about me, but picture may be the Worst of All Time'
US President Donald Trump took a dig at Time magazine over its latest cover photo, despite the accompanying story applauding his Middle East peace deal as a "triumph".
Posting on Truth Social today, Trump wrote, "Time Magazine wrote a relatively good story about me, but the picture may be the Worst of All Time."
He complained that the magazine had "disappeared" his hair and added there was "something floating on top of my head that looked like a floating crown, but an extremely small one. Really weird!" Calling it "a super bad picture," Trump said it "deserves to be called out."
The cover, released Monday with the headline "His Triumph", shows Trump gazing upward with a sun-kissed backdrop. Citing the peace deal between Israel and Hamas as a "strategic turning point" for the Middle East, the issue revolved around it, describing the resolution as a "signature achievement of Trump's second term".
This is not the first time Trump has picked a bone with Time. In February, after the magazine featured Elon Musk at the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office, Trump remarked, "Is Time magazine still in business? I didn't even know that."
