Bangladeshi expat dead in UAE road accident

A Bangladeshi expatriate died in a road accident in Ajman city of United Arab Emirates (UAE) last night (August 2, 2022).

The deceased, Muhammad Kamal Uddin (38), was from Katachhara union in Chattogram's Mirsharai upazila.

According to other expatriates, Kamal was hit by a speeding car while crossing the road. He was later rescued and taken to a hospital where doctor declared him dead.

Kamal had been living in UAE for the last 17-18 years. He used to work at a laundry shop.

Preparations are underway to send his body to Bangladesh.
